Plumbing Repairs

Everyday plumbing repairs in Andover and the surrounding villages.

What’s involved

Not every plumbing job is a bathroom. Most of what we do in a week is repairs: a tap that drips, a cistern that keeps running, a shower that has lost its pressure, a stopcock that won’t turn, a toilet that rocks, an outside tap that has frozen and split. T2 Electrics & Plumbing do this work across Andover, Whitchurch, Ludgershall, Tidworth and the villages between, and we carry the common parts on the van.

We also fit the small things that make a house work better: an outside tap for the garden, a water softener or scale reducer, a new shower head and hose, isolation valves so the next repair doesn’t mean turning the whole house off, and thermostatic mixing valves where a scald risk needs controlling.

Small repairs are priced over the phone where we can; if it turns out to be more than it sounded, we’ll tell you before doing anything extra.

Common questions

What people ask before booking plumbing repairs.

Can you fix a dripping tap or do I need a new one?

Usually a new cartridge or washer fixes it. If the tap is old enough that parts aren’t available, or the body is corroded, replacement is cheaper than chasing it.

Can you quote over the phone?

For small repairs, yes, if you can describe it or send a photo. If it turns out to be more than it sounded we’ll tell you before doing anything extra.

Which areas do you cover for plumbing repairs?

Everywhere within roughly 20 miles of Andover: Test Valley and north Hampshire, east Wiltshire including Tidworth, Amesbury and Salisbury, and west Berkshire including Newbury and Hungerford. If you’re just outside that, ask.
