What’s involved
Letting agents and landlords need two things from a contractor: that the property is compliant, and that problems in occupied homes are fixed quickly without three phone calls. T2 Electrics & Plumbing work with agents and portfolio landlords across Andover, Tidworth, Salisbury, Winchester and Basingstoke, handling both the electrical and the plumbing side so there is one number to ring and one set of paperwork.
On the compliance side we carry out EICRs on the five-year cycle, quote and complete remedial work from the report, fit interlinked smoke and heat alarms, provide PAT testing for furnished lets and HMOs, and install and test emergency lighting in HMOs and communal areas. Certificates are sent to the agent as PDFs the day the work is signed off.
On the repairs side we take leak, no-hot-water and no-power call-outs directly from tenants where the agent prefers, report back with photos and a price, and handle the between-tenancy jobs, from a dripping tap to a full bathroom, so a property is ready for the next check-in. Regular clients can have an agreed rate card and monthly invoicing.
