What should I do before you arrive?
Turn off the water at the internal stopcock, usually under the kitchen sink or where the main enters the house. If water is near anything electrical, turn the power off at the consumer unit too. Open the cold taps to drain the pipework if the leak is bad.
Do you charge an emergency call-out fee?
We charge our normal rates during working hours. If we can’t get to you quickly we’ll say so rather than take the booking; it’s better you ring someone else than wait.
