What’s involved
From a single extra socket to the full electrical fit-out of an extension, T2 Electrics & Plumbing carry out domestic electrical installation work across Andover and the surrounding towns. Every job is planned before it starts, priced in writing, and certified on completion where the regulations require it.
Typical installation work includes new circuits for kitchens and cookers, downlighting and dimmers, additional sockets and USB outlets, outdoor and garden power, supplies to garages, workshops and garden offices, electric showers, extractor fans and mains-powered smoke and heat alarms. We work alongside builders and kitchen fitters on larger projects and handle the plumbing side ourselves where a job needs both trades.

What people ask before booking electrical installation.
Do I need a certificate for a new socket or light?
Not for a like-for-like replacement, but a new circuit, work in a bathroom or kitchen, or anything involving the consumer unit is notifiable under Part P. We certify and register notifiable work as part of the job; you don’t have to do anything.
Can you add power to my garage or garden office?
Yes. An outbuilding needs an armoured cable from the house, usually its own small consumer unit, and RCD protection. We quote the cable route, trenching if needed and the board together so there are no surprises.
Which areas do you cover for electrical installation?
Everywhere within roughly 20 miles of Andover: Test Valley and north Hampshire, east Wiltshire including Tidworth, Amesbury and Salisbury, and west Berkshire including Newbury and Hungerford. If you’re just outside that, ask.
