Plumbing work in Enham Alamein
Enham Alamein is 2 miles from our base in Andover, about 10 minutes by van, so we can normally fit a look at a job around other work in the area rather than making you wait for a dedicated trip.
Mid-century homes around Enham Alamein usually still have their original hot water cylinder, radiators and pipework; replacing a tired cylinder, adding thermostatic valves and fixing seized stopcocks are everyday jobs.
Old cottages in Enham Alamein come with old plumbing: lead or galvanised sections, low pressure from an ageing supply pipe and cylinders that have quietly furred up. We replace what needs replacing and leave what doesn’t.
Water across Hampshire, Wiltshire and west Berkshire comes from chalk aquifers and is very hard. Limescale shortens the life of immersion heaters, shower heads, cylinders and appliances, so we fit scale reducers and softeners as part of the job where they’ll pay for themselves, and we’ll say if they won’t.
We also work for businesses in and around Enham Alamein: pubs, shops, letting agents and local employers, with out-of-hours slots where trading hours can’t be disrupted and certificates sent straight to your agent or facilities manager. See our commercial plumbing services.
